Bantry Airfield (EIBN)

Description

Bantry Aerodrome is a small private airfield 1.5 nm (2.8 km; 1.7 mi) west south-west of Bantry in County Cork, Ireland. The landing strip is near the coast, both runway ends are less than hundred metres away from the water.
The nearest international airports are Cork Airport to the West and Kerry Airport in Farranfore, County Kerry, to the North. (see Wikipedia)

Installation-Informations:

  • The airfield is situated on a slope and is slightly sloping and uneven.
  • The artificial runways can be hidden, which is often useful for grass runways and/or for all runways if high-resolution photos of the airfield are available. It is sufficient to rename the affected runway files, e.g.:
    • rap399m19m_rwy.tmb__OFF
