Connemara Airport (EICA)

Description

Connemara Airport (Irish: Aerphort Chonamara) or Connemara Regional Airport (Aerfort Réigiúnach Chonamara) (IATA: NNR, ICAO: EICA) is located at Inverin, in the Connemara region, 15 nautical miles (28 km; 17 mi) west of the city of Galway. It is also known as Spiddal Airport, Inverin Airport, or Minna Airport (Aerfort na Minne), a name also used by Minna Airport in Minna, Nigeria.
Aer Arann Islands, a division of Aer Arann, operates Britten-Norman Islander aircraft to the Aran Islands of Inisheer (Irish: Inis Oírr), Inishmaan (Irish: Inis Meáin) and Inishmore (Irish: Inis Mór) off the coast of County Galway in Ireland. (see Wikipedia)

Installation-Informations:

  • The airfield is slightly sloping and uneven.
  • The artificial runways can be hidden, which is often useful for grass runways and/or for all runways if high-resolution photos of the airfield are available. It is sufficient to rename the affected runway files, e.g.:
    • rap624m26m_rwy.tmb__OFF

  1. Create folder My PC > Documents > Aerofly FS2 > scenery > places > IE
  2. Download EICA.zip file to your IE folder and unzip to folder EICA/
  3. Download xref_lib_water_towers.zip to My PC > Documents > Aerofly FS2 > scenery > xref and unzip to folder xref_lib_water_towers/ (only do this once and it applies for all FSCP airports
  4. Go Fly!
