Alberto Carnevalli Airport (SVMD)

Description

Alberto Carnevalli Airport (ICAO: SVMD) is an airport located 3 km southwest of downtown Merida, the capital of Merida State in Venezuela. It is named in honor of Alberto Carnevalli, a Venezuelan lawyer and political activist. The airport is in the Chama River valley in the Andean mountains, surrounded by higher terrain in all quadrants. Night operations are prohibited. Commercial service resumed to Caracas on 2 August 2014, after being suspended for 5 years due to the crash of an ATR42 of Santa Barbara Airlines Flight 518.   3. Download xref_lib_water_towers.zip to My PC > Documents > Aerofly FS2 > scenery > xref and unzip to folder xref_lib_water_towers/ (only do this once and it applies for all FSCP airports
