East Fortune Airstrip (X6EF)

Description

East Fortune Airstrip is a former airfield of the RAF. Today, only the concrete extension of the main runway west of the B1347 is used as a runway for microlight aircraft and as a scrap yard. This is the only part of the East Fortune airfield that can accommodate aircraft today, and they cannot be larger than an ultra-light aircraft.

Installation-Informations:

  • The artificial runways can be hidden, which is often useful for grass runways and/or for all runways if high-resolution images of the airfield are available. It is sufficient to rename the affected runway files, e.g.:
    • heli1_obj.tmb__OFF
    • rap……m….m_rwy.tmb__OFF
