Rathcoole Airfield (grass runway) (EIRT)

Description

Rathcoole Aerodrome (ICAO: EIRT) is located in Rathcoole (Irish: Ráth Chúil [2]), 13 nm (24 km; 15 mi) west of Mallow (Mala), in County Cork (Contae Chorcaí), Ireland. It is operated by the Rathcoole Flying Club. (see Wikipedia)

Installation-Informations:

  • The airfield is situated on a slope and is slightly sloping and uneven.
  • The artificial runways can be hidden, which is often useful for grass runways and/or for all runways if high-resolution photos of the airfield are available. It is sufficient to rename the affected runway files, e.g.:
    • rap494m26m_rwy.tmb__OFF
