Teesside International Airport (EGNV)

Description

The airfield was built in 1941 as Royal Air Force Middleton St. George, and was home to RCAF units in WW2. In 1964 it was re-named Teesside International, but changed to Durham Tees Valley Airport in 2004. However, in summer 2019 it once again became Teesside International Airport. Ten miles south-west of Middlesbrough, it serves the North East, County Durham, and North Yorkshire. The above description has been prepared by IPACS forum user KJKsimmer.
