DescriptionA flight simulator airport on Bush Key near Fort Jefferson. This is a stop gap measure while we wait for the first float plane or seaplane in Aerofly FS2. The single runway is bare bones with just a basic FBO building where you can check the weather, high and low tides, and buy fish bait. There is a charging station in the flight planning corner of the building so you can leave with a full charge on your iPad and iPhone. Runway is almost due west of Key West, Florida, a little less than 50 nm. >>> Local knowledge - when using Runway 8 just stay on the sand bar and aim left of the two white tanks and right of the anchored sailboat.
