DescriptionDishforth or RAF Dishforth is a former Royal Air Force station 4.4 miles east of Ripon, North Yorkshire. Opened in 1936 and used by RAF untill 1943 when the RCAForce took over, It went back to the RAF in 1945, and was handed over to the British Army in 1992 and became Dishforth Airfield.
