Neustadt an der Aisch (EDQN)

The airfield Neustadt / Aisch is the airfield of the Middle Franconian town of Neustadt an der Aisch. He is from the flying sports group Neustadt / Aisch e. V. operated. The airfield is located about two kilometers west of Neustadt on a clearly exposed plateau at an altitude of 363-368 m above sea level. NN. To the north is the district Diebach and south powder mill. South, the terrain drops steeply to the valley of the Aisch, north and west, it rises gently to the ridge of the Steigerwald. The airfield is a special landing pad for sailing and airplanes up to 5700 kg and with a helipad and has no regular operating hours. The holder of the airfield is the flying sport group Neustadt / Aisch e. V. A landing is only possible after permission of the owner (PPR). There are several farm buildings, a café, a hangar, a workshop and there is a tank facility. The area is also shared by the skydiving club Neustadt Aisch e.V. and other clubs.
