Tenzing–Hillary Airport (VNLK)

Description

Tenzing–Hillary Airport also known as Lukla Airport, is a small airport in the town of Lukla, in Khumbu, Solukhumbu District, Province No. 1, eastern Nepal. A program titled Most Extreme Airports, broadcast on The History Channel in 2010, rated the airport as the most dangerous airport in the world for over 20 years. The airport is popular because Lukla is the place where most people start the climb to Mount Everest Base Camp. There are daily flights between Lukla and Kathmandu during daylight hours in good weather. (from Wikipedia) The above description has been prepared by IPACS forum user TomSimMuc. Bespoke Conversion

Standard airports in FSCloudPort are created using a 'pre-generated best-fit' method. Runways are not the exact width or length but the closest available from a pre-generated library. Being independent models with conflicting terrain flattening they are also unable to cross over without conflicts.

This airport is different. A bespoke conversion has been performed offline and uploaded so that runways are the exact dimensions and the integrated model supports crossing runways.
