Verona-Boscomantico Airport (LIPN)

Description

The airfield Verona-Boscomantico is located in the Valpòlicella area at the foot of the Alps, directly on the Adige. A few kilometers to the west, the Brenner motorway A22 and the SS12 distillery road pass by. Both the city of Verona and Lake Garda are within easy reach. The airfield has a roughly one kilometer long, east-west running runway (08/26) and a parallel runway. In the north is a relatively extensive apron, in the south two smaller aprons, maintenance halls other smaller facilities. The airfield is the seat of the Aeroclub Verona and other air sports clubs. Here is one of the most important civilian flight schools in Italy. The airfield serves general aviation. The commercial air traffic is handled at Verona-Villafranca Airport, which is located about 12 kilometers southwest of the city.
